Manhattan DA's Office Conducts Forensics Evidence Discussion at NYC iSchool
On Thursday, October 6, 2011, an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Money Laundering and Tax Crimes Unit joined Wendy Chavez-Tchagoue of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office’s Community Affairs Unit at NYC iSchool located at 131 Avenue of the Americas in Soho for a discussion of white collar crimes with a forensics class.
The Assistant District Attorney discussed the process of prosecuting white collar crimes, provided an example of a recent cold case, and explained how forensics can be used to collect evidence for prosecution. Approximately 25 students were in attendance.
