Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance, Jr. and Lillian “Lee” Llambelis, Special Assistant District Attorney for Community Affairs presented information on Elder Abuse at the Hispanic Senior Action Council. DA Vance spoke to a group of seniors about how to detect signs of Elder Abuse and gave examples of different types of Elder Abuse. She also discussed the work of the District Attorney’s Elder Abuse Unit and provided information on how to get help if you or someone you know is a victim of Elder Abuse. An approximate of 40 seniors attended the event.
