Semester Internships: How to Apply
Second-year and first semester third-year law students who are interested in being considered for a semester internship should mail a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript to:

All internships are for academic credit. Please see your law school Internship Coordinator or Public Interest Office for more information. The Legal Hiring staff is available at 212-335-9361 to answer any question you might have about the application process.
Only complete applications are reviewed. We do not accept resumes via fax or e-mail.
We begin accepting applications for the Fall Semester on March 15th and the deadline is April 15th. For Spring Semester we begin accepting applications on October 15th and the deadline is November 15th. Interviews are scheduled on a rolling basis and students are encouraged to send their applications in before the deadline.
